Not Suitable For Work is a show about young people who keep going to work even though the title is warning them in plain English.

I was eating during some parts, but I got the important wrong part.

I don't know how much clearer television has to be. It says not suitable for work. Then everybody is at work. This is like a sign saying do not put soup in pants and then episode one is pants full of soup.

The people are work-obsessed 20-somethings in Manhattan's glamorous neighborhood, Murray Hill. Chud wrote that down as Murder Hill at first and honestly that would make more sense because the desks are killing their free time.

The characters want success and personal happiness. They should pick one because the office chairs are already using most of the room.

I think the main villain is a calendar invite. It never gets named but you can feel it breathing. Everybody is dressed like an email that learned legs. They talk about careers like careers are a bus you can impress by standing near it. I might've missed a scene, but this still feels legally true.

The show is called a comedy, and yes, some people say funny things. But the real joke is that nobody checks if the building is suitable for people. They only worry if the people are suitable for work. Backwards. You got to inspect the work first. I kept this in my notes twice, once spelled different.

Is the desk nice. Does the elevator know when to quit. Does the printer have a clean record. These questions are not asked because television fears furniture truth.

My favorite part is when the young people keep trying to become professionals. That is a classic mistake. Professional is just regular but with a bag that hurts your shoulder.

The lesson is simple. If your show says not suitable for work, send the work home. Let the people stay and eat chips in the conference room until the chairs confess what they did.

This is why I should be allowed at press screenings earlier.
